DOWSIL™ (formerly Dow Corning) silicone adhesives are durable one-component, rubbery materials that cure at room temperature. Excellent for joining different materials.

DOWSIL™ (formerly Dow Corning) silicone adhesives are durable one-component, rubbery materials that cure at room temperature. They meet the demands of a wide variety of industrial adhesive and sealing needs. Excellent for joining different materials and materials with different expansion.

DOWSIL silicone adhesive has the following properties:
Temperature range: -65 to +350°C

Weather resistant: Silicone adhesives are highly resistant to UV radiation and the external environment so they do not harden, crack and become brittle

Chemical resistant: Silicone adhesive does not break down even during long exposure

There are silicone adhesives with FDA, NSF, MIL, UL and other classifications for e.g. food, electronics or other specific requirements

Acetic acid curing silicone adhesive
These are normally the first choice due to price and temperature resistance. These can withstand up to 275°C continuously and briefly 350°C depending on the product. Examples DOWSIL™ 732, 752, Q3-1566, 734 and 736.

Neutral curing silicone adhesive
Is often the choice if you don't want the smell of vinegar during curing or when a neutral product is desired. These can normally withstand 180°C continuously. Often called alcohol-degrading silicone. Examples DOWSIL™ 7091, AS 7096N, 7094, 748 and 3140.

DOWSIL (formerly Dow Corning) ® 7092 High Green Strength - provides higher immediate strength immediately after application than conventional silicone adhesives.
